WAREHOUSE 13 - Breakdown


racethewind10: stop me before I tag vomit BUT LOOK AT MYKA’S FACE seriously her whole face is completely different looking at Myka and she’s there but she can’t touch and she’s there and Myka can’t talk her down and selfless and brave and logical Myka doesn’t care about the reasons she will not kill HG Wells leave me alone to die you know what else kills me about this scene? The way Jo keeps her arms crossed, as if Myka is protecting herself, as if she’s afraid of what her hands will do.  because Helena is so close and yet so far out of reach and it must just be killing Myka in this moment to see her, right there and know she can’t touch her, to want to reach out so damn badly and know that it wouldn’t matter; that HG is nothing but photons and a magnetic field or something techy and not flesh and blood, not something Myka can hold onto and hold close and protect. Its like she’s holding on to herself because as badly as it hurts now she knows if she reaches out and watches her hands pass right through Helena it will actually hurt worse.  Did I mention I was 999887765568% done? Cuz I am.

you know what else kills me about this scene? Imagine person A dying suddenly and Person B continuing to make them a cup of coffee every morning, even though they know it will go cold.

 #then i thought about bering and wells#and how hg would still make myka’s coffee #even though she loathes it herself #she would still make it#and she wouldnt let anyone else drink it #she would just leave it out until next morning #then she would clean it out and make a fresh cup #and helena knows that its irrational to do this #she has seen grief in many forms #but she cant stop herself from doing it #and getting touchy when anyone comments on it

    Myka smiled and shook her head. She counted a few beats and sure enough, her daughter came hurtling into the den and practically dived into her lap.
    She was a tiny thing. Scrabbling madly in her panic, little hands clawing at Myka’s shirt and hair to gain purchase. Once upright, she thrust her prize into Myka’s chest.
