Okay as awesome as the tags are, this has been bugging me for a while so I need to ask it. Isn’t Regina still legally Henry’s mother? Pretty sure she did sign adoption papers an’ all. Because if she is, then yeah Emma needs to run this shit by Regina. ‘Cause, erm, technically not doing so means Emma just kidnapped the kid. And Regina can sue her ass.
They are really taking advantage of the fact that Regina won’t do that because she wants Henry to know she’s trying for redemption, but seriously show, at least have someone effin’ comment on it. I know this is normal for fairy tale characters but Emma said it herself in the first episode: SHE CAN GET DONE FOR THIS SHIT BECAUSE, LEGALLY, SHE’S NOT HIS MOTHER. Very important word that, legally.
If it’s not commented on I am not gonna be impressed show.

AU: Aubrey can’t find a job as a lawyer when she graduates from college and in search of any job she travels to New York – after a few months she finds a job in a dingy café and finds herself in an unhealthy relationship with an older man.
Five months after Aubrey gets a job in the diner Ruby moves to the same area with her best friend Belle, who is trying to rebuild her life away from Storybrooke now that the curse has broken and they’re free to cross the barrier. She goes to the small café around the corner from where they live and notices the blonde immediately – from then on she makes a point to go to the café every morning.
For a few months both Ruby and Aubrey notice each other in the café and share longing looks however neither of them say anything to the other. Aubrey is prevented by her work and Ruby is prevented by the ‘wolf thing’ – much to Belle’s dismay (Ruby talks her ear off about Aubrey). During that time Aubrey breaks up with the older man she’s seeing and continues to work unhappily at the diner.
Finally Ruby gathers up the courage to ask Aubrey out – Belle goes along for support. When the blonde is jostled by a man, causing her to smash a cup Ruby takes her shot. Aubrey is inevitably distracted by her work however and Ruby’s chance is gone. Forlorn she returns to her table with Belle. The next time Aubrey looks up from her work she sees Ruby sitting at the table with Belle and assumes they’re together. She goes back to work but when she notices that Ruby and Belle have left she thinks she’s lost her chance for good – she whips off her apron and hurries outside in hopes of finding Ruby – although she’s down the street by that time Ruby hears Aubrey and goes back.
